Current Affairs Micro Video丨Have faith in your heart and have strength at your feet
This year marks the 90th anniversary of the start of the Long March. Ninety years ago, the Red Army soldiers set out from Yudu, Jiangxi, embarking on a grueling journey. They fought fiercely at the Xiang River, crossed the Chishui River four times, ingeniously navigated the Jinsha River, and captured the Luding Bridge. Throughout the 25,000-li trek of the First Front Army, an average of one soldier sacrificed their life every 300 meters. The Long March, a symbol of resilience, is stained with the blood of countless heroes.
“The Long March was filled with difficulties and challenges. It was a fight for survival against all odds, driven by revolutionary ideals that were as high as the heavens!”
Eight years ago, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Red Army’s victory in the Long March, General Secretary Xi Jinping articulated the profound spirit of this monumental event: “The victory of the Long March symbolizes the triumph of the ideals and beliefs of the Chinese Communist Party. It teaches us that with belief in our hearts, we find strength beneath our feet.”
Every generation has its own Long March, and each individual must carve out their own path.
In this new era, there are still many “snow-capped mountains” and “grasslands” to cross. Let us remember our original mission and strengthen our ideals, continuing to make our mark on the Long March of our generation!
