Canton Fair China Home Furnishing’s -Green Intelligent Manufacturing- Expands Foreign Trade -New Blue Ocean-

At the ongoing 136th China Export and Import Fair (Canton Fair Phase II), a wide variety of eco-friendly home products are captivating international buyers. This year’s theme, “Quality Home Products,” has attracted a diverse crowd of domestic and foreign businesspeople, showcasing China’s commitment to technological innovation and sustainable manufacturing.

One standout exhibit comes from Guangdong Huayi Bathroom Industrial Co., where a Pakistani buyer was amazed by an AI-powered voice-activated kitchen faucet. Vice President Pan Quanfu explained that this eco-friendly product allows users to control water flow and temperature simply by speaking, supporting multiple languages and significantly saving water and energy.

In addition to the voice-activated faucet, Huayi is showcasing a micro-bubble kitchen faucet designed to effectively remove pesticide residues from fruits and vegetables while breaking down grease through physical sterilization. “Our company focuses on high-end smart products exported to Europe, the US, and the Middle East. We expect a 20% increase in overseas sales this year, thanks to the interest from international buyers at this fair,” Pan noted.

Guangzhou Hekoumei Home Products Development Co. also made headlines during the fair, securing an order for 23,000 thermos bottles from a client in the UAE on the very first day. Deputy General Manager Wen Jiecheng shared that their latest “Healthy Treasure Bottle,” featuring a completely sealed design to prevent dust and bacteria, has been particularly appealing to foreign purchasers.

As a high-tech enterprise in Guangdong, Hekoumei emphasizes energy-efficient designs and utilizes low-lead, corrosion-resistant, and high-temperature durable materials in its new products, which focus on both functionality and aesthetic appeal. One innovative feature of their cold water bottles includes a dual-layer cap—one layer for drinking and another for adding ice—catering to diverse consumer preferences. Wen also observed a noticeable increase in buyers from the Middle East and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, revealing that over 50% of the company’s orders come from the Canton Fair.

At the booth of Shijiazhuang Dekano Decoration Materials Co., international buyers are engaged, some even live-streaming their visits. Marketing Manager Li Bingye reported that the star of their product line is the SPC Wall Panel, which has seen a 50% increase in sales compared to last year. This innovative wall material combines various wood and stone designs with a new eco-friendly composite core, produced using a high-temperature, high-pressure extrusion process. It boasts features like water and moisture resistance, fire retardation, and dust-free installation, making it an attractive alternative to traditional wall materials for interior decoration.

“Dekano’s products have reached over 80 countries and regions, including the US, Canada, and Thailand. Our overseas sales exceeded 200 million yuan in 2023, with a projected growth of around 30% this year,” Li noted, highlighting the strong interest expressed by international buyers during the fair.
