A man was robbed of 350 yuan while taking the N line subway in the middle of the night.
In a recent incident on the N subway line in Brooklyn, police are searching for a suspect connected to an armed robbery that took place inside a subway car. A man was robbed of $350 by an armed assailant in the early hours of October 18, just as the train approached the 59th Street station near Sunset Park, a location frequently used by the local Chinese community. Authorities have since released photos and video footage of the suspect, urging anyone with information to come forward to help apprehend him.
According to reports from the NYPD’s 72nd and 34th precincts, around midnight, a northbound N train was nearing the 59th Street station when the suspect, sitting next to a 21-year-old man, suddenly brandished a gun and demanded money. After taking the cash, the suspect exited the train at the 59th Street station and fled on foot. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
Police describe the suspect as a male with dark skin, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black jacket, black hoodie, black sweatpants, and white sneakers.
