Dodger pitcher’s watch was stolen during crowd encounter in Los Angeles area
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler recently experienced a robbery incident in the Chinese community of Arcadia, where a luxury watch was stolen from him.
According to a report by ABC7, the theft took place at Santa Anita Park, although the specific timing of the event is still unclear. Sources indicate that Buehler and his wife, McKenzie Marcinek, were surrounded by a group of people when one individual seized the opportunity to snatch his watch.
ABC7 reached out to the Arcadia Police Department on October 7, but their call was directed to an investigator, and there has been no response as of yet. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Dodgers has not provided any comments regarding the incident.
On October 8, Buehler was in San Diego, where he was participating in the National League Division Series.
Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, Buehler has long had a passion for horse racing. Notably, he has a small investment in an American Thoroughbred named “Authentic,” which is trained by Bob Baffert and famously won the Kentucky Derby in 2020.
