Fatai Amoo, one of the featured speakers at the upcoming three-day seminar for coaches and media officers organized by the Nigeria National League (NNL) at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, shared his excitement about contributing his expertise as both a former player and coach.
Ahead of the seminar, scheduled for October 28th to 30th, the former Assistant Coach of the Super Eagles expressed, “It’s a tremendous honor to be chosen as a resource person for the NNL preseason coaches seminar. I’m looking forward to sharing my experiences as both a league player and a coach. Football is constantly evolving, with changes emerging every day across all areas. To remain competitive, coaches must stay updated with modern trends. I applaud the NNL for this fantastic initiative that will surely benefit our football landscape.”
Mr. George Aluo, Chairman of the Nigeria National League Board, added, “We are thrilled to host a preseason seminar aimed at equipping our coaches and media officers for the 2024/2025 season. The NNL is committed to enhancing the skills of our coaches to elevate the league’s standards, which is why we’ve invited respected and knowledgeable speakers to the seminar. Our focus is on maintaining high standards while continually improving them.”
This seminar also marks a new approach with the inclusion of media officers, allowing them to better manage their clubs’ media presence. Joining Amoo as a resource person will be Coach Alphonsus Dike, while media professionals such as Tony Ubani, John Joshua-Akanji, and Oluchi Tobex-Tobechukwu will provide insights into the latest trends in media club management.
The preseason seminar will take place at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne from October 28th to 30th, 2024, and it is expected that all NNL club coaches and media officers will participate.
