Tai Chi Gate and Tai Chi Gate Tai Chi Tai Chi jointly celebrate life, practice qi and maintain health_1
The Tai Chi Door’s locations in Cupertino and Santa Clara are coming together for a special event to celebrate their anniversaries, aptly titled “Joyful Life through Qi Cultivation and Wellness.” Slated for October 6 at 1:30 PM, the event will take place at the Santa Clara dojo, located at 5155 Stevens Creek Blvd, Santa Clara, CA 95051. Attendees can look forward to a captivating lineup of performances, including a dragon dance and traditional drumming, along with informative health seminars aimed at enhancing physical and mental well-being through Tai Chi practices. The community is warmly encouraged to join in the festivities.
A key feature of the celebration will be a health presentation by Dr. Lyu Huan-Yi, a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner from Taiwan, who has deep roots in the Tai Chi community. He’ll provide valuable insights into how traditional medicine can be blended with Qi Gong concepts to relieve pain and boost overall health. Also, North California special effects artist Zhang Yi-Ran will share his motivating story of making his way into Hollywood.
The event promises dynamic entertainment, including dragon dance performances, a drumming group made up of youth and young adult Tai Chi practitioners, and an energetic song and dance number by teenage disciples. To foster community involvement, the organizers have prepared interactive areas, cultural displays, game booths, and a petition for the “World Wishing Day Declaration.”
