-Three-Year Action Plan for the Construction of Land and Spatial Planning Standard System (2025-2027)- is issued
On October 24th, the Ministry of Natural Resources announced the release of a collaborative document alongside the National Standardization Administration, outlining the “Three-Year Action Plan for Constructing a National Land Space Planning Standard System (2025-2027).”
During an interview, a representative from the Ministry explained the objectives of the Action Plan. It aims to enhance the national land space planning standard system within the broader framework of the Natural Resource Standards System. The plan emphasizes the need for an integrated management approach that addresses the entire process of planning, approval, implementation, and supervision. The key goals over the next three years include:
First, revising and upgrading existing standards to reinforce and完善 the planning system’s foundation. Second, advancing the digital governance of land space planning while promoting the digital transformation of standardization practices. Third, focusing on aligning with recent central government decisions, the plan seeks to establish standards in pivotal areas such as supporting the construction of a “Beautiful China,” developing new quality productive forces, and practicing the concept of a “People’s City.”
In addition to the main objectives, the plan is accompanied by two important documents:
1. The full text of the “Three-Year Action Plan for Constructing a National Land Space Planning Standard System (2025-2027).”
2. The project list for the three-year action plan concerning land space planning standards.
This comprehensive approach reflects the commitment of the Ministry to foster systematic development in land space planning and standardization efforts across the nation.
