Local officials and residents emphasized their commitment to adhere to Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era. They aim to deeply implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee. They intend to fully embrace the directives presented by the President during his visit, focusing on advancing comprehensive reforms and high-quality development to create a new, vibrant picture of modern Chinese development.
In the pursuit of rural revitalization and common prosperity, the atmosphere is dynamic. In Aojiao Village, Dongshan County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, the picturesque coastal scenery and abundant fishing resources set the stage for optimism. Village Party Secretary Lin Huazhong expressed, “The President stated that ‘the rural landscape will shine brighter in the new era and new journey,’ which has greatly boosted our confidence. We will remember his words and leverage our strengths to invigorate our village through the sea.”
Far away, in Heilongjiang Province’s Yichun City, the picturesque Xiaogangling National Forest Park is bustling with activity. Liu Yangshun, a retired forestry worker and a local entrepreneur, is leading a successful business endeavor on a vibrant street near his farm. “I was impressed by the President’s remarks on deepening collective forest rights reform and developing forest products and under-forest economies. His guidance opens new pathways for wealth and environmental protection. We are continually active, and our lives are flourishing,” Liu shared.
Meanwhile, in Nangou Village, Ya’an District, Shaanxi Province, the apple trees are heavy with fruit, showcasing a successful harvest. Zhang Runsheng, the Party branch secretary of Nangou Village, remarked, “The President encouraged us to create specialty agricultural industry clusters, instilling confidence in our ability to utilize our land resources effectively and accelerate specialty industry development.” The village plans to enhance modern agricultural practices and develop a tourism approach to generate income for residents.

Zhao Shengliang, Party Secretary of the Dunhuang Research Institute, expressed the importance of preserving cultural heritage, which he described as invaluable. “The generation after generation of Mogao Grotto caretakers have created a model for ‘protection, research, and promotion’ of culture.
